Several Members of Crew Missing TEARFUL FAREWELLS

AUCKLAND, This Day. Tearful scenes were witnessed at the Devonport Naval Base this morning when the cruiser Dunedin sailed for Engiand. Many of her 400 oflicers and men were married in New Zealand, and there were brides of onry a few days aniong the crowd that waved farewell. Several men who should have been aboard were missingt, and the warship sailed without them. With a seaplane roaring overhead and the erews of the sloop Wellington and the traiuing-ship Philomel cheering dustily, the cruiser slipped out oi the harbour.
