"CHAMPAGNE WALTZ." In "Champagne Waltz" at the State lo-night Gladys Swarthout sings in five dilferent languuges, English, German. French, Italian, and Spanish, this something that has- iitver been done before, and by this maryellous performance will , certainly make her the biggest name in motion picture singing stars. "Champagne Waltz" is set in the city of Viehna, where Gladys Swarthout is a direct descendant of Strauss, and a slnger who renders his songs much to the delight cf all Vienna. She is the reigning personalit} of this city, until Fred MacMurray, the leader of an American swing band, visits Yienna and puts her and her grandfather out of business, thus bringing about a climax of rcmauce, drama and delightful music. The five outstanding songs heard in "Champagne Waltz" are, "Paradise m Waltz Time," "Champagne Waltz,' "When Is a Kiss Not a Kias?", "Could I Be in Love?",, and Merry -Go-Round. ' '
