EWE FAIR
.There was a good attendance at yesterday's ewe fair, at which was offered .a full yarding. Prices were easier, and vendors were in some instances required to lower their reserveg to meet the market. The following is a range of prices:— Lambs 5/6 to 24/5, shorn wether lambs 12/4 to 15/3, wether lambs 6/to 17/4, s.w. lambs 6/- to 15/6, ewe lambs 9/5 to 22/4, m.s. lambs 7/6 lo 15/1, S.D. Jambs 12/2 to 12/9, 2, 4 and (5-th ewes 16/- to £1 9/9, 5 and 6-yr ewes 18/3 to £1 7/1, m.a. ewes 24/4, s.m. ewes 19/G, ewes 8/3 to 25/]-, wethers 19/5 to 24/5, 2-th wethers 14/3 to 22/6; heifers £2 to £2 18/-, Jersey heifers £3 7/6, cows £2 7/6 to £2 15/-, cows and calves £2 15/- to £4 9/-, Jersey cows £2 15/- to £3 15/-.
