The annual conference of the Methodist Church of New Zealand is to commeiice in Auckland on . Thursday uext, February 18, in the Pitt street, cburcht Auckland. Tbe opening function will take tbe form of the induction of the president for 1937, the Rev. Ffed. Copeland of New Plymouth, who was stationed in Hastings from 1923 to 1927. The Hastingss cireuit will be represented by Mr H. R. French, and the Rev. R. B. Gosnell attends as district representative and journal secretary. The only known circuits changing ministers in the Hawke's Bay — Manawatu district are St. Paul's, Palmerston North. and Dannevirke
