Work Resumes at Detroit Car Factories PAY RISES GRANTED

(Beceived 13, 8.45 a.m.) DETBOIT, Feb. 12. Nearly 900 cnotor strikers marehed from the three plants cheering. They were met at the gates by rejoicing relatives and friends. General Motors has announce-d the resumption of the production oi motors on Monday in more than thirty industrial cities and expects to be operating at capacity wxtbin 12 days. The employers promised to pay a rjse of five cents an hour which amount in a normal year would amount to tweuty-five million dollars. The points of settlement in the motor strike are as followi Qeneral Motors for the next sls cnonths will bargain collectively with the A.W.U. exclusively in the twenty plants closed by the strikers. The union will evacuate all plants forthwith. All strikers will be reinstated and General Motors will withdraw the injunction against the sit-down strikers.
