£613,851 From Auckland Sale / BEST FOR 12 YEARS

AUCKLAND, Last Night. Representing an aggregate payment of £613,851, the proceeds of the second Auckland wool sale, which have been distributed to groWers this week, reflect the most favourable season for the last 12 years. The cheque easily surpasses £518,750 realised by the January sale in 1928, and brings the total distnbution for the two Auckland saies this season to £1,053,121, as against £935,621 for all three saies last season. The total compares with £324,081 obtained from the second Bale of 1935-36 season, and £439,270 for the November sale of this season.
