The late Richard Yarqley paid great atteiition to wool, and as his country produced sheep rather exeeptional for size and bone, he developed & • very mgbclass Romney stud. It will pay leading Dreeders throughout New Zealand to attend this dispersal sale, as they will be given an opportunity to secure Romneys of the best breeding and type that will give them the desired climatic outcross. The sires used at Keppock were bred m the best North Island atuds, including those- of Sir Wiliiam Perry, Penrose, and Mr. Q. Donald, Alloa, prices paid for these at auction ranging up to 200 guineas and 300 guineas. Many prizes have been won by Keppock Roinneys in tha leading southern Bhowrings, including championships at the Southland Metropolitan and Gore Shows.
