Reply to Criticism A writer under the pen name of "Service" writes as follows to the Herald-Tribune 5s uthletic editor. ' ' Notwithstanding the r)riticism of the women 's Christie Cup team I am strongly of the opinion that the best team from the available women .in Hawke's Bay was selected?. Other writers, when criticising the method of the team's selection, advocated tho inclusion of Mrs Mawson. This player could certainly not on present showiug displaCe Mrs Milburn, Mrs Cotterill, Miss Glenny ojr Miss Budd, while the Griffiths and Miss Marjorie Evans, in fifth and sixth place respectively, is worthy of commendation.
