Crossing Accident at Dunedin . MAN BADLY HURT

DUNEDIN, Last Night. As the result of a rake of trucks colliding this afternoon with a motor lorry at a crossing on the railway line whieh runs along the foreshore f ronting Anderson's Bay road two men Tecelved injuries which necessltated their removal to hospital, one of them being placed on the seriously ill list. The injured men were: John Forrester, a married man residIng at 55 Fitzroy street, Caversham, internal injuries, concussion and shock, placed on the seriously ill list. George Mason, a married man, aged 23 years, residing at Fairfield, shock and abrasions to face and hands. Shortly before 3 o'clock the lorry, driven by Mason, commenced to cross the line at the rear of the line of trucks whietL were being shunted. The trucks were stationary when the lorry reached tie line but just as it was halfway aoross the rake moved backwards and craehed kito it. The lorry was thrown oa its siAe, the body and cat) being smadked almeet to matchwood and Mason acd Forrester were caught under- the wreckage before . they could spring clear.
