Tramp in Heavy Bush in Otaki Gorge

OTAKI, Last Night. At 1.30 o'clock this afternoon, Mr. W. Ohaney and his son, the last of the searchers for Mr.f Bartosh, who was lost in the ranges during , the week-end, walked out to Otaki Forks. Although they had heard the aeroplane sent out to recall them, they had not seen it, being in the heavy bush on the edge of the Otaki river gorge at the time. They had not heard the three rifle shots flred at Saddle creeli, being en Mount Crawford at the timo. Neither knew hat Mr. Bartosh had got out untii they arrived at Otaki Forks.
