Heretaunga Teams Announced
Tlie weekly meeting of the executive of the Heretaunga Swimming Club was held. last night, Mr L. J. Fisher presidmg. The programine adopted for the club carniyal to-morrow was as follows: ; Firial distance Anderson Cup, 100 yards} women ; second distance Campbell Cup, 100 yards, boys ; club handi®aPj BX) yards j consolation handicap, 50 yards j B grade handicap, 50 yards; girls' handicap, 50 yards; boys' handieap, 50 yards; teams' race, junior, B grade and open diving. Final details covermg the inter-club carnival to be held next Wednesday were made. It was left to Mr McBride to arrange accommodation for the visitmg Gisborne team. Ihe selector, Mr J. Nelson, advised the- following nominations for the Hawke's Bay championships : Senior Men: M. Ashman 50, 100, 220 440 yards; J. Hare, A. MacDougall. 50 yards; B. Wright, diving. Women : Misses P Robertson and B. Smith, 50 and 100 yards. Intermediate boys: R. Fox,' D. Thompson, diving; D. Drummond, breaststroke. Intermediate girls: p. Campbell, 75, 100 and 220 yards; A. Harnden. 75 yards breaststroke Sbhoolboys ; J. Stlnson, J. Towney, J. Kelt, all distances. Schoolgirls; .8. Howard, all distances Jtmross Cup teams race and Swain up teams race: Each one team.
