BREACH OF PROBATION
Barney Solomon was charged in the Hastings Magistrate's Court yeslerday with committing a breach of a probation order in tliat lle failed tb report to tlie prob&tion officer and also failed to make restittltion orderecl The defendant pleaded guilty. The probation officer, Mr J, 11. Esson, •stated that lie had previously wariied ■ the accused. For the past tbree months Solomon had been earning £8 10/- a week. The police had in- i formed liim that accused was a "waSter 1 and a parasite". Warning the accused that he faas liable to imprisonment for three rrtonths, the Maglstrate, Mr J. Miller, emphasised that the tertns of the order had tj be fioiilplied with. The case was adjourned for one month. i
