Mrs Cumming, Napier, who has been visiting Mrs C. G. Boss, "Leetham," has returned home, beirig accompanied by Mrs Boss, who will be her guest. Mrs E. C. Bradley and family, Ongaonga, have returned from a short holiday at the beach. Advice that she has passed the examination for the Fellowship of the Trinity College of Music, London, in pianoforte playing, has .been received by Miss Erin Power, of Auckland. The fellowship is the highest diploma awarded by the college. Miss Power, who was trained at St. Joseph's Convent, Grey Lynn, is a niece of Mrs F. S. Budd, of Hastings, and was in Hastings recently. Mr and Mrs A. E. O'Meara, Fitzroy Avenue, Hastings, have returned from the Milford Sound summer cruise. Miss Hilary Couper, who has been spending her holidays with the Mi-sses Couper, Waihotoa, Havelock North, returned to New Plymouth Hospital this morning. Miss Marid Williams, Wanganui, who is to be a bridesmaid at the Pidgeon— Hill weddihg, arrives to-morrow i» Napier and' will be the guest of Miss Dorothea Norman, Boslyn road. Miss Mildred Newcombe, J.P., Wanganui, and Mrs E. W. Mereweather, also of Wanga,nui, are guests of Mrs Leslie Hill, Fitzroy road, Napier, and wjII attend the wedding on Monday of MisValerie Hill. / Mrs E. S. Wilkins, Wellington, it spending a week's holiday in Napier. Miss EJsie Gray, Waipawa, is spending a holiday in Gisborne. Mrs W. Sharp, Hastings, was the guest of Mrs Grayson, Matawhero, fo* the Murton — Sharp wedding. Mrs W. G. Stead, accompanied by Mrs W. B. Stead, St. Aubyn street, Hastings, has motored to Auckland to meet her son and. daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs G. G. Stead, who arrive from England by the Eangitiki. Mrs John F. Kolly, "Oban," Hastings, accompanied" by her cousin, Mrs B. Cole, Glasgow, Scotland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs H. D. Crisp, Harris atreet, Gisborne. Miss Betty Sharp, who has been the guest of her aunts, Mrs T. Sharp and Mrs D. McKeague, Gisborne, for the Murton-r-Sharp wedding, at which she was a bridesmaid, intends returning to Hastings this week.
