WOMEN'S INSTITUTE PARTY NEXT WEEK

The Northern Hawke's Bay Federation of Women 's Institutes is holding a combined garden party in the A. and P. Society showgrounds, Hastings, on Thursday, February 18, when it is hoped that there will be a record crowd of members and friends. This is the first effort of its kind in Northern Hawke's Bay and has as its main idea the cementing of common interests and the spirit of goodwill for whieh the movement stands. All mera» bers are requested to wear name and that of their institute and to enter into every part of the gardon party which will help them to know their f ellowmembeis. The beautiful Waikoko grounds wiil be open so that patrons may enjoy the rest and shsde there. Afternoon- ica will be available at the grandstand in the showgrounds. It is hoped that there will be a large attendance of the public and they may rest assured that they will spend a very pleasant and entnrtaining afternoon.
