Fortunately the weather clcared after heovy ©Ternight rain and enahled patrons to enjoy the wealth of pleeeure that accompanies these functions. The large attendanch must Uti been very pleaaing for the show coxmnittee as well as those conducting trade exhihite and sideshows. A feature of yeeterday's display wh the perade of stock in the oval followed with heen interest hy a packed grtndstand and fence line hanked several rows deep. Then came the jumping competitiona with long lists of competitors and sheep dog trials. A Maori concert was scheduled for the evening. Fnrther awards are as follows:—
