In sympathy with recent saies i# other centres, there was a very tetrong demand for crossbred, which, compared with the. first Dunedin Bale, wa# fully firm and, in some cases, slightly dearer. Fine wools aleo were in good demandL A feature was the strong demand by local mills for good super halfbred* which fsold at 26|d for a top line of Hilltop wool, with two other saies at 25|d and a further lot at 25d.
