NORSEWOOD SCHOOL

Our Own Correspondent)

Committee Discusses Remodelling of Building

(From

NORSEWOOD, This Day. At the monthly meeting of the Norsewood School Committee there were present Messrs C. Polsen (chairmun), H. Ritchie, J. Hansen, Mrs A. Mildon and Mr Mildon, secretary. Correspondence and plans for the remodelling of the school, received from the Hawke's Bay Education Board, were considered by the committee and several alterations and additions are to be suggested to the board. A request is also to be sent for the installation of a septic tank system at the school. It was decided to endeavour to arrange the annual school excursion to Napier some time betwcen February 22 and 26. If this can be done, it will not cause a break in the school term after re-opening and will not deprive the children of their annual outing to the seaside.
