Adventure in Tararuas

OTAKI, Last Night. Shortiy before noon to-day a young man, Elmo Bartosh, of Lower Hutt, who had been misBing in the Tararuas since early on Sunday morning, walked out to Otaki Forks, carrying his pack, and showing the effects of his adveniure although, apart from hunger, he was not Beriously indisposed. ' Fortunately, the weather, which was very bad( withv heavy rain and poor visibility, on Sunday night and yesterday morning, improved yesterday afternoon, and cleared completely during last night.
