VALEDICTORY P.O. Officers Farewell Mr J. T. Dunlop Mr J. T. Dunlop, who has been on the staff of the Chief Post Office, Napier, for the past six years, and who left this morning to take up his new position as accountant at the Wanganui Post Office, was farewelled on Monday afternoon by - his fellow officers at Napier and presented with a solid leather .bowls case and a barometer. The presentation was made by the Chief Postmaster, Mr A. Pellow, who spoke of Mr Dunlop 's valuable service immediately following the earthquake. Other speakers included the telegraph engineer, Mr H. Mountier, the isenior supervisor of the mailroom, Mr J. Hall, the senior supervisor of the telegraph braneh, Mr A. T. McSherry, lie supervisor of the clerical branch, Mr G. W. Gwynne, the assistant supervisor of the clerical branch, Mr W. Dickon, and Messrs K. Boswell and G. Kerr, examiners of the money-order branch. All expressed regret at loaing Mr Dunlop and appreciation of his services while stationed at Napier.
