Epairama and Hatuma At the wek-end the return match between Eparaima and Hatuma was played on the latter's ground in beautiful weather. Hatuma avenged their previoue defeat, running out winners by two wickets and 13 runs. Lunch and afternoon tea were served at the home of Mr.and Mrs J. Wilson, who kindly offered their lawn for this purpose. Eparaima had first use of the wicket and compiled 163 runs The chief scorers were: R. P. Wilder 47, N. Vogther 38, A. S. Wilder 24, H. Stowell 11 and Douglas 17. Bowling for Hatuma, Wyatt took tw'o for 19, Knight four for 35, Chapman one for 15, 0. Wilson one for 36 and M. Walsh two for 45. Hatuma, in reply, made 176 for 8 wickets at close of play. Chief scorers were W. Matthews 44, G. Wyatt 18, C. Knight 16, J. Saxton 12, A. Wilson 12, L. Chapman 25 and M. Walsh 30 not team from Waipukurau played the took two for 43, J. McLean one for 32, A. Wilder two for 18, Patterson two for 43, and Stowell one for 29 FLEMINGTON MATCHES Recently the Post and Telegraph Flemington Packer made 28 and DowFlemington team, at Flemington. Flemington won by 59 runs. Post and Telegraph batted first and made 577, Flemington following with 59 runs. In the second innings Post and Telegraph compiled 28 and Flemington 80. Chief scorers in the first innings were:— Post and Telegraph, Price 14, Purcell 10, Rankin 12; Flemington: Ennor 16. Bowling for Flemington, Packer took one for 15, Fahey five for 6, Ennor three for 24, H. Syme one for 5. For Post and Telegraph, Rankin took five for 21, Yarwood five for 29. In the second innings for Post and Telegraph, Bendich made 10, and for Flefington Packer made 28 and Downie 12. ^Bowling for Flemington, Packer took four for 8, Fahey three for 10, W. Ellingham two for 26, H. Syme one for 3. Bowling for Post and Telegraph, Price took three for 18, Rankin one for 12, Eaton three for 10, Petersen two for 6, Higgins none for 6, Dreneen one for 5, Yarwood none for 9. A WIN FOR NORSEWOOD Norsewood defeated Flemington by an innings and five runs, on the Flemington ground. Norsewood batted first and made 134, their chief scorers being A. Culliford 42, Candy 26, Dunn 16, Thompson. Flemington replied with 55, W. Ellingh*m (11) being the only batsman to reach double figures. Bowling for Flemington, Fohey took one for 49, W. Ellingham two for 26, H. Syme one for 24, Downie three for 6, Reedy three for 18 Bowling for Norsewood, flarris took six wickets for 19, Dunn four for 8, Galloway none for 8. Norsewood put Flemington in again and they made 74. Batting for Flemington, W. Ellingham made 24 and B. Ellingham 16. Bowling for Norsewood, Dunn eook five for 22, Barclay one for £0, Harris three for 10, Galloway one for 12.
