The Daily Mirror and the Daily Herald give detailed accounts of two years' secret tosts carried out by a dozeu scientists in a room at the biochemical laboratory, Cambridge, where sealed windows and chimneys revealed that deadly gases c'annot be kept out. Even Wearers of gas masks iu the room wer© susceptible to the influence of gas. The Mirror quotes Professor Martack as eaying; "I am surprised that the secret tests have leaked out. Apparently gases cannot be excluded andi gas masks are useless when worn » long time."-
