WEATHER FOR THE CORONATION

Feople who are going to Engl'aiicL this year — and even those who are not — will be interested to know in advance something about the probable weather during May. According to a long-range weather f orecast, made by the eminent firm of experts, D. nd K. Bartlett, of Fleet street,, London, the beginning of May will be showery across the British Isles, but it will gradually improve towards the Coronation day when — as if as a good omen for the coming reign — bright and warm weather will set in for !a spell, with many long, fine days until the end of the month. Coronation day itself will probably be cloudy, but this will be ideal weather, with enormous crowds assenibled. These forecasters of the weather send out detailed advance information up to 12 months ahead their patrons including leading manufacturers all over the country, distributors, and national advertisers, newspapers, film producers, transport undertakings, caterers, and hotelkeepers. Many of these organisations are dependent upon certain types of weather for the success of their business, and as they repeat their orders, the reliability of the information given speaks for itself. Film producers, needing bright and fine weather for their outdoor shots, find this service invaluable.
