Mr and Mrs A. Don, Masterton, and their two daughters, who have spent several weeks in Auckland, spent the week-end with Mrs Don's parents, Mr and Mrs W. G. Paterson, Chairles street, Hastings. Mrs Wilmot, Railway road, has returned to Hastings after visitiiig her son in North Auckland. Miss Janet Orbefl (Pentlow) left yesterday to stay with Mrs E. J- Herrick, r'Lindisfarne," Hastings, for tne Elworthy — Herrick wedding. Mrs G. Kerr and Miss Jean Herr, Napier, are the guests of Mrs G. Taveadale, New Plymouth. The wedding took place at Whakatane on Friday of Mrs Judith Thoui and Mr H. A. Burgess. Mr and Mrs Burgess are now on a tour through Gisborne and Hawke's Bay, Miss E. Adams, Wanganui, is on holiday leave, and aecompanied by. her mother, Mrs. Adams, has motored to Taupo. s Mrs, . M. J. Swan, of Takahue, North Auckland, has returned home after a holiday spent in the Pahiatua distrlct, Hawke's Bay, .Wanganui, and Palmerston North. She was the fi?st teacher at the Kaitawa School, and although she.is now 86 years of age, she thoroughly enjoycd xevisiting old sceneg/ Mrs. J. K. Inglis, Tasmania, who has been spending a lioliday in , Hawke 's Bay and Wellington, leaves "by the Marama, aecompanied by her mother, Mrs. D. Wilson. 1
