TWO PLANES COLLIDE

Crew of One Killed ; Others Safe (Received 6, 11.45 a.m.) ALEXANDRIA, Feb. 5. Two planes from the air-craft-carrier Glorious collided in midair directly above the bows of the destroyer Courageous. One nose-dived into the sea, killing Lieutenant G. A. Vardon and a telegraphist, Mr Bert Overall. The other machine was badly damaged hut circled for a while and then came down on the water safely. The oceupants were unhurt.
