"NIGHT MUST FALL" ON BROADWAY
Emlyn Williams has taken his play "Night Must.Fall" to New York and is playing in it himself with Dame May Whitty and Angela Baddeley. "Excellent acting," wrote one critic, "makes it an interesting, if less than absorving evening." Another critic was less patient with its sombre theme. "The audience," he wrote, "is said to weary with monstrous anticipation, like Byron's old maids in the sacred city, who kept asking wh? wn't Ihe Javish ng begin."
