WAIRUA, Feb. 5. The Wairoa County Racing Club will continufe their annual race meeting tomorrow. With other horses competing that were reserved for the final day the racing will again be of a high order. A very big attendance is' anticipated, as the East Ooast Railway employees have been given a holiday without pay by the Government. The first day saw some very fine finishes, and with the handicapper doing a good job the winners again appear to be well concealed. Likely improvers by yesterday's racing are Fine Stitch; Grey Molly, Legatee, Gay Hunter, Small Boy, Tupai and Fossieker. The following may be the best backed in their respective races: — WAIKAREMOANA HACK— Royal Solo, Small Boy, Blygain. WAIROA CARNIVAL HACK.— Grey) Molly, Jazz King — Aeranna (bracket), Mahala. CARROLL MEMOR1AL.— Legatee, Lucullus Lad, Pennycomequick SCURRY HANDICAP.— Tupai, Seyfried, U | -t Waiata. HURAMOA HACK CUP.— Tractile. Gay Hunter, Small Boy. PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP— Hunting Mars, De Friend. ELECTRIC HACK.— Tycoon, Royal Solo, Fossieker.
