Mr Tripp and the Labour Party

BERNAED

TRIPP.

(To the Editor.) Sir, — As I have not been quite cor* rectly reported in some papers on the remarks I made in Australia in xeference to the Labour Party, I wish to state esactly what I did eay, which was as follows: — "I believe Mr. Savage and his Cabinet were honest, able men, and tbey were doing what they thought was the best for New Zealand. They were also ready to rectify any mistakes they made if they were pointed out to them, but I am not a supporter of their policy, and had voted against them. ' '

— Yours, etc.,

Gleniti, Timaru, Feb. 3, 1937.
