In each matcb the bonours re'sted on the. first innings, Heretaunga defeating Methodist and West End defeating United. In tbe Heretaunga v. Methodist game tbe latter batted first and compiled 102 (Sadler 27, . Wilkins 21, Younge 15; Bouse six wickets for 25 runa. In reply, Heretaunga made 199 for the loss of 'six wickets (Bouse 58, Giorgi 52 not out, Weymouth. 48 retired, Kitt 20, Sinclair 13). In tbe second innings Methodist lost two wickets for 65 Tuns (Ball 28 -not out, Sadler 22).
