Clyde, Tyne and Belfast AN Busy BR1TISH PROGRAMME
(Eeceived 5, 11,45 a.m.) ' EUGBY, Feb. 4. The tpnnage of vessels. under construction for the Admiralty in private yards in Scotland amount to 65,562. The vessels include three cruisers, 14 destroyers, pnd two submarines. Yards in the north-west of England, according to informatipn in a Parliamentary answer, qre hqilding 89,313 tons, including one. capital ship, two aircraft-carriers and eight submarines. The Tyneside and north-eastern yards are executing Admiralty orders totalling 110,805 tons, including one capital ship, one aircraft-carrier, four cruisers and eight destroyers. One cruiser of about 10,000 tons is being built at Belfast, while four tlestroyers and other light yessels amonnting in all to 11,169 tqns are under construetion in Southampton, Cowes and. ether yards in the south.
