QUICKSTEP DISPLAY
On February 13 the Hastings Citi z6ns' Band. will leave to compete at the New Zealand brase-band championships, to be held at Nelsott from February 15 to 20. The band has been putting in solid rehearsals for some time past in tlie hope of still retaining the Shardlow Shield for New Zealand' s champion B-grade quickstep band, of which it is at present the holder. On Sunday at- 2.30 the whole of the quickstep, as it will actually take plaee at the contest, will be given, also the hymn and two test seleetions. The siiver coin collection will g© towards the baiid-coutest expeuses.
