NAPIER ROWING CLUB

Fulton Memorial Races Racee for the Fulton Memorial rosebowl were held by the Napier Rowing Club on the Ngaruroro river. Three crews competed. In the first heat No. 2 crew (E. Cross str.), G. Sherwood 3jW. Tucker 2, D. Kyle, bow) defeated No. 3 crew (E. Carew str., H. Etheridge 3, R. Dockary 2, H. Wardrop- bow) by four lengths. . In the final heat Cross 's crew beat No. 1 crew (H. Benson str., P. Kay 3, F . Austin 2, R. Oldfield bow) by four lengths. The club coach and selector, Mr C. Poynter, has appointed the following crews to represent the Napier Club in the pair-oar racee for the Harris and Hill Shield, to be competed for at tho East Coast Regatta at Clive on Eebruary 13: — Seniors.— W.
