Postal Ballot.
A postai ballot is being taken among the.members of the staffs of the Railvvays Department regarding the election of representatives of the first and second divjsions on the Board of Appeal. There are three candidates for each seat. The choiee of a representative for the first division is from Messrs K. H. Gardner, Hutt, C. G. Hedge, Hutt, and J. S. Roscoe, Christchurch ; and in the second division the field comprises Messrs J. Doig, Palmerston North, J. W. Motgan, Lyttleton, and J. Pickup, Lamhton
