On Saturday a friendly retum match was played on McLean Park between Kaiwaka and Port Ahuriri. An inteis esting game resulted in & win for tbe town team, the scores being as follnwt Port Ahuriri 322 (L. Krogh 128, W* Pirie 106, A. Krogh 22 not out, Maxtin 21, Vercoe 13 and Heailing 10). Kat * waka made 159 (Carter 47, R. Proctco: 30, J. Sigvertsen 27 and E. Chambere 17). Vercoe and Pirie secnred most wiekets for Port, while Chambers aqd Fletcher were Kaiwaka'! most successful bowlers,
