Considerable local interut vm •vinced when tho Kaitaka Crkklt Club recently played the staff of Mnrray, Roberts and Co., on the "Pudding Bowl." The game, which ie an annual fixture, proved to be a sporting and oven contest. At the eonclusion, Mt D. Watters, for Murray, Roberts & Co, thankeA the country club, especially tha lady members, for a most enjoyable outing. Following are details of the play:— Murray, Roberts 80 (Ballantyne 12, J, Nelson 10, and Moms 10) and 165 (J« Nelson 40 not out, L. Bishop 18, Butlez 12 and B. Tweedie II). Kaiwaka 132 (Carter 46, 1. Proctor 28, White 17 and _ Ohambers 10) and 123 for three wicketa (White 55, Holt 45 and E. Proctor 1(1 not out). Murray, Roberts' most successful bowlers were J. Nelson (six wiekets), Butler (three wicks) and G. Nelsoa (three wiekets), while for Kaiwaka, Holt (seven wickes), R. Bain (six wiekets), Sigvertsen (four wiekets) and White (four wiekets) bowled best.
