The Hastings Cricket Sub-Associa-tion met on Monday, when Mr.' A, D. Ma,honey presided o.ver a good attendance of delegates. * It was decided to approach ,the Wellington association to see if the times of play for the Gannett Cup, match at Easter couid be arranged to enahle the Hastings playera.to see the M.C.C. v. Wellington game. The -selector, Mr. E. Mitchell, was requested to select the Hastings players for practi'ce. after the next round of matehes. . All -practices were cancelled for Thursday night, Fehruary 4, as No. 2 (Saturday) wieket would be required for Thursday players." A report from the grounds committee intimated that the clubs had been using the wrong practice pitches and thac difficulty was therefore being experienced in keeping them up to standa»*d. Mr. Thomas was empowered to lnf erview Mr. L. J. Brabin with : legard to arrangements for the "Wellington Colts v. Hastings (Gannet Cup) match at Easter. As the High School had not reopened it was decided to cancel the fifth series (junior games), and carry on from the sixth series on February 13. The grounds committee was instructed to use only two • wiekets. At the High School, where it was possible to do so. Following is tbe draw for to-morrow and Saturday, February 4 and 6 respectively:— '

Rugby v. United, Hastings No. 1. Hastings v. Napier H.S.O.B., Napier No. I. Hastings H.S.O.B. v. Technical O.B.. Napier No. 2. JUNIOR GRADE. Fourth Series — One Day. Otane (gear) v. Hastings, at Havelock. Fruitworkers (gear) v. High Schooi Ists, School No. 1. Rugby (gear) v. Whakatu, School No. 2. Mahora win by default against High School Seconds. Havelock, a bye. Either Mahora or Havelock will play against the the Napier bye team in Napier. Sixth Series — Saturday, FebruaTy 13. Whakatu (gear) v. Havelock, at Havelock. High School Firsts (gear) v.
