Outstanding Achieyement, Says Victorian Visitor WORTH COPYING

WELLINGTON, Last Night. At the State luncheon to-day Mr H. J. T. Hyland, assistant-Minister of Agriculture for Victoria, replying to the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage 'a welcome, said what had impressed him cnost in New Zealand was the manner in which the Government was tackling. the problem of unemployment. "Your placement service is absoliitely outstanding," Mr Hyland said. "I want to say that the system is absolutely marvellous. There is no talk. There is no thought of charity. The sole aim iB to get jobs for idle men. Men are spoken to as men. That is one thing Australia can well take notice of. It would be a wonderful thing if Australia would adopt the same systern. I compliment the Government and the placement ollicers on the wonderful job they aro doing."
