Among tbo citations which coinprised tbe lesson-sermon were the, iollowing from the Bible: "Bless fbe Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his .benefita' wbo forgivethi all tbine iniquities; wbo healeth all tby diseases ; wbo redeemetb tby life from destruction j wbo crownetb tbee with loving kindness n nd tender mercies," AIso the following passages iiom tbe Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Hddy: "Paul said : 'Neither death, nor life. .... nor thinga preaent, nor things to como
nor beight nor depth, nor any other creatnre, shall be able to separate us from tbe love of God.' This is the doctrine of Christian Science; that joy cannot be ' turned into sorrow, for sorrow is not the master of joy; that good can never produce evii; that matter can never produce mind nor lifo result in death."
