United Defeat Hastings 0 B. A first-innings victory went to United over Hastings H.S.O.B., the latter making only 130 runs in reply to the tall score of 401 for five wickets that United had compiled the previous week. Old Boys' second effort waa a decicled improvement, thanks mainly to a fine stand by Mullinder, who was unheaten for 107 when f-.tumps were drawn with the total in the second innings at 226 for fonr wickets.
