An inter-club match between members of the West End (Napier) and Waipawa Tennis Clubs played on the Waipawa oofxrts, resulted in a substantial win in both sections for the •Waipawa team. The results of play are as follow, Napier players being named first SINGLES. Craigie beat Watts 6 — 1, 6 — 2. Yates lost to J. Knobloch, 2 — 6, 4-6. Hewsen beat R. Knobloch, 6—3, 6 — 5. Thomas beat G. Knobloch, 6—3, 6 — 0. Jlrough lost to Williams, 2—6, 3—6. Kingsland lost to Weedon 4—6, 2—6. House lost to Dr. Norris, 3 — 6, 2 — 6. Palmer beat MacPherson, 4 — 6, 6 — 0, 6—4.
