Indoor Bowling Competition Held

WAIPAWA, Last Night. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, was held on Friday night, the N. G. Sister B. Weston presiding over a fair attendance Visitors present from the Loyal Meeanee lodge were extended a hearty weloome and accorded lodge honours. An indoor bowling competition between the two lodges rosulted in a substantial win for Meeanee with an aggregate of 51 points, Abbotsford 27. The detailed results are as follow, with Meeanee narnes first:FIRST ROUND Burr, Armstrong, Mazer, Whitton 12 ; Holt, Kingston, MacPherson. Whyman 3. Chalmers, Trubshoe, Phillips, White 8 ; Cossar, Harris, R. Kirk, Bosley 2. SECOND ROUND. Dawe, Wells, Ellis, McDonald 5j Fair, B. Kingston, Kirk, McKay 7. Chalmers, Trubshoe, Phillips, White 9; Holt, Kingston, MactPherson, Whyman 8 THIRD ROUND. Burr, Armstrong, Mazer, Whitton 8 ; Fair, B. Kingston, Gallagher, McKay 5. Dawe, Wells, Ellis, McDonald 9j Cossar, Harris, Kirk, Bosley 2. Supper was served' by memberg of the social committee.
