WANGANUI, Last Nigkt. The Wanganui Jockey Glnb's summer meeting was concluded yesterday, the weather being fine though very windy. The attendance was very good and despite a • four-horse race during the day, the totalisator handled £15,385 10/-, as against £10,713 10/- on the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £27,382 10/-, as compared with £18,760 10/-, the increase being £8622. The course was in good order and the racing interesting and three of the winners on the first day— Beau Gallante, Aiwiai and Taiteata — agiain saluted the judge on Saturday.
