" South America: Carcases mutton • 4,823, lamb 205,980) quartera beef (frozen) 770, (chilled) 212,174. ■South Africa (indudxng' Southertt Rhodesia) : quarters beef (chilled) 4,915. The shipments from New Zealand td the United Kingdom for the firat half of January were as follows: Carcases • mutton 31,279, lamb 620,129, quarters beef (frozen) 538, (chilled) 8,595.
