The Hatrick Line steamer daradale came into cdllisioii with the ttnioti Steam Ship Co.'s Steamer Kakariki off Glellibrand piie light eariy this moriiihg. Five members oi the crew are The Gafadale, a small inter-State freighter, met the Kakariki a few yards from Gellibrand light, bilt the dfiicers of the lighthouse did not see ihe collisidn. A wireless message from the captain of the Caradale to the Birector of Navigation, Melbdurne, told of the tragedy. The mlssing men from the Kakariki Charles Lynch, A.B., of Sydney. Jack Rodgers, A.B., of Melbourne. Harry Co'seombe, A.B., of Melbourne, Ban Lindermau, assistant cook - (address unkuown). Athol M.artin, fireman, of Sydney, Sixteen other members of the creW of the Kakariki were pieked up in the Caradale 's lif eboats and they reaehbd Melbourne at two 'cloek in the taornmg. All the men on the Caradale are safe. The Gafadale was holed in the bdws above the Waterlini.
