WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui Jockey Cluh's summer meeting opened to-day in glorious weather. There was a large attendance and the totalisator handled £11,997, as compared with £8047 on the correspondfng day last year, the increase being £3950. The course was fast and in good order and the racing was interesting. The Hastings-trained Master Cyklon won the Cup in race record time, • and another Hastings success was secured in the open sprint, which was won by Lavina. !
