Mr K. Christie, son of Mr and Mrs H. M. Christie, Waipawa, was successful in the degree examinations of the University of New Zealand. Mr Christie, who is a seoond-year student at Canterbury University College, passed the intermediate and first professional examination for bachelor of engineering. Mr and Mrs C. D. Barnes and family, Levin, who have been on a visit to Ormondville, as the guests of Mr and Mrs Stanley Barnes, have returned hoine. Mr and Mrs Armstrong, Wellington, who have been on a visit to Ormondville, as the guests of Mr and Mrs Geoft'rey Hill, have returned 'home. The Rev. H. and Mre Klingender, Napier, paid a shoi't visit to Oi'mondville. Mr. J. Roulston, New Flymouth, is on a visit to Oi'mondville, as the guest of xhis sister, Mrs D. Wilson. Constable and Mrs Ryan, who have been on a visit to New Plymouth, have returned to Ormondville.
