New Committee Elected

ORMOND YILLE, Last Night. A public meeting was held last night in the Peace Memorial Hall to f orm a new hall committee. Mr G. S. Chapnian presided. , „ The following were elected for the •jnsuiug year: — rSeeretary and treasurer, Mr Kingsley Port; trustees, Messrs R. Benbow and G. Port; auditor, Mi&s A. M. Webb; general *committee, Messrs G. S. Chapman, H. O. Baines, A. Baiues, J. C. Packer, A. Port, G. Port, A. Hutcheson, Mesdanies G. S. Chapman, J. C. Packer, H. R. Benbow and Miss Brabazon. It was decided to hold meetings on the last Monday in every third month and to have the annual meeting on the last Monday in January. A vote of thanks was paesed to the local Women -'s Institute for contributing towards the upkeep of the hall, and to Miss A. M. W ebb for acling as auditor last year.
