VISIT TO ROOSEVELT
Intention of GovernorGeneral of Canada (Received 28, 8.45 a.m.) OTTAWA, Jan. 27. It is announced that the GovernorGeneral of Canada, Lord Tweedsmuir, shortly after Easter will pay a return call on President- Roosevelt, who last summer visited him at Quebec. Lord Tweedsmuir will spend two days at the White House, and will thus set a precedent as the first Canadian Governor-General to pay an official visit to the head of the American Govornment. The visit is hailed as of international significance and another indication of the friendliest relations in the history of neighbour nations.
