In spite of the
somewhat cold reception which was given the casaque at its first appearance, this land of dress has successively gained ground as it has proved a becoming and very practical dress. The model above is made in a bright patent-leather-like silk. Notice the wide peplum stripping at the back, which with the long-stretched, oval buckle is ultra-modern.
