COSY THEATRE
saturday's ^attraction. New honours are won by both George Eaft and Bolores Costello Barrymore, eo-stars in the Paramount comedyromance, "Yours for the Asking, " which opens to-hxorrow at the Gosy Theatre. Eaft appears as a gambiixig house proprietor seelring to start' the i social climb; to exchange his "tough' guy ' ' mannerisms for the manners ox j tlio-drawirg roonx. It is a part suited , perfectly to his tastes, and one similar to roles in which the steel-eyed star bas won his greatest fame. Miss Barrymore is a society girl, daughter of a banker who has died and lef t his inansion groaning under the weight oi mortgages. She leases the place to the gambler, then helps him set up a swank gambling clu.b in it. Gradually she realises that she is failing in love with Eaft, bnt he remains blind to her feelings. 1 Two thrilliug stampedes, one oi frightened, maddened cattle, and one of a herd of untamed range horses, are 1 a part of the action-ixlled story oi Paramouixt's "The Arizona Baiders," Zane Grey film with Larry Crabbs and Marsha Hunt in leading roles, also coming to the Cosy. The picture presents Crabbe as a hard-riding, straight-, shooting cowpuncher, roamiixg the old West in search of adventure. "Two in a Crowd," coneluding tonight, is the sort of picture that will leave a warm, happy, tingling glow, *'way down deep inside you. Laughter and love ripple and sparkle all through the lively Universal oft'ering whieh stars Joan Bennett and Joel McCrea.
