PROMISING ATHLETE
A Hawke's Bay athlete who has in the past year or so shown considerable promise is Noel Gosnell, of Hastings, who in the recent Hawke's Bay tennis championships, wou the junior title. Gosnell took up hockey as a novice at the commeneement of last aeason and at the end of tho season had seeured representative honours. With the advent of summer sport he eoneentrated upon tennis and success came his way in the Hawke's Bay championships in which he won the junior title without sufferiPor loss.
